Our technical inspectors carry out a survey at least every five years to assess the condition of our homes. This is called a stock condition survey. If your home is due to be inspected, we will contact you in advance, usually by letter, to advise you of your appointment date.
If you've got an appointment booked, our guide below has details of what you can expect. Contact us using your My NCHA account if you need to change the appointment.
During the survey we'll update our records for your home to help us to plan future work. You can request an inspection of your home at any time using your My NCHA account.
If you decide not to have a survey completed, we'll exclude your home from planned improvements. This means you could miss out on getting a new bathroom, kitchen, heating system or new windows.
