Apprenticeships and other work opportunities
NCHA has a track record of providing apprenticeships in housing, social care, building trades and business administration.
We work in partnership with the National Apprenticeship Service and local colleges to provide tailor-made opportunities across the organisation and through our contractors.
Our apprenticeship opportunities are listed with our job vacancies.
Careers in social care
We are always looking for people who want to develop their career in social care. At NCHA, you'll get access to an extensive training programme in health and social care and the opportunity to take a qualification relevant to your job. We have ongoing job vacancies for care assistants and bank care assistants which can provide you with a way to start your career and earn while you learn.
Nottingham Jobs Fund
We work with Nottingham City Council’s Nottingham Jobs Fund (NJF), which supports local people into employment by providing twelve months' work in real jobs with training opportunities.
Access Training are a work-based learning provider based in the East Midlands. They provide apprenticeships and other training programmes to learners of all ages (subject to funding eligibility).
We're able to provide work experience opportunities for school pupils and college/university students, in areas ranging from technology and finance to social care and property maintenance. We particularly welcome applications from the children of people who live in NCHA properties. Please contact us if you'd like to talk to someone about work experience at NCHA.
