Our new office in Clifton

At the heart of our development on Farnborough Road is a new contemporary and sustainable office for the NCHA team.

Some of our offices in Sherwood Rise, where some of our teams are currently based, opened in 1973 when our organisation was first founded. We’ve bought additional buildings in and around the area to accommodate our growth over the years, but because of the age and style of the buildings, they’re not the modern and energy efficient workspaces we need now or in the future.

Since the pandemic, we’ve become used to working in a more flexible and agile way, so the new two-storey office building is designed to reflect this. It will be home to 200 bookable workspaces, a variety of meeting spaces, our 24-hour call centre, a training facility and maintenance depot.

We’re a community focussed bunch, so we’re really excited that our new office will be part of a new and existing neighbourhood in Clifton. The open and green spaces on the old college site will be a welcome change to our existing urban environment, and the access to transport and road links is going to suit us really well.

We’re committed to making the whole development gas-free and as energy efficient as possible. The workspaces will be built to Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) standards, which will demonstrate the quality, performance and sustainable credentials of this building.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our completed building in 2024!
