We’re planning stock condition surveys
Every two years we complete an independent stock condition survey. These check the validity of the stock condition surveys that we carry out ourselves to provide assurance that our data and costs are correct.
This year we’re working with Michael Dyson Associates to conduct the surveys for us. We’re contacting around 400 customers and asking them to book appointments for the stock condition survey of their home. If your home has been selected you will receive a letter from us.
What happens during the survey
The surveyor will carry out a visual assessment of the internal and external areas of your home, including windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms and heating appliances. It should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete.

Visiting your home
The team from Michael Dyson Associates will have an ID badge and a letter of authority from NCHA. They are not concerned with how tidy or clean your home is, so please don’t worry about that.
