New financial support sessions

We understand that for many customers this can be a challenging time financially. That’s why we’ve partnered with Access Training and Futures Housing Group to deliver some valuable support sessions for residents.

We have scheduled these free support sessions to provide information, advice and guidance to help you and your family’s finances, and to provide advice if you are currently unemployed and looking to find work.

The dates and venues are:

• Tuesday 30 January 2024 – Alfreton at Firs House Firs Garden, Alfreton, DE55 7FU.
• Thursday 1 February 2024 – Daventry at Daventry Mind, Brook Street, Old Gas Works Car Park, NN11 4GG.

There will be two sessions at each event:

• 10am to 12pm – Costing of living support. If you are worried about the rising cost of living, including higher energy, food and petrol prices, we can help you create a budget and provide tips on how to save money.
• 12.30pm to 2.30pm – Employment support. We can provide employment support to help with securing work. We will discuss what makes a good CV and support in preparing for interviews.

The sessions will be very relaxed and we will provide free refreshments.
