Care and Support engagement

At NCHA, we’re committed to listening to and acting upon the views of all of our customers. To increase our customer involvement offer, we’re creating a new panel, specifically for those who use our care and support services.

This new panel will sit alongside our existing customer panels, and be formally recognised by our Board. It will play a vital role in offering a voice to our care and support service users, ensuring they are involved in decision making and their needs and opinions are heard.

Following a comprehensive recruitment process, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve appointed Katherine Cutts, Assistant Manager at our Nuthall Road service, to the position of Chair of the panel.

Katherine says: “I'm passionate about how our customers feel about the services they receive from NCHA. My aim is for every customer's voice to be heard and used to both influence and drive performance, and improve the services we deliver.”

Katherine will be joined on the panel by Judy Gray, a former colleague now volunteer, and Liana Burrell, who is external to NCHA but brings with her a wealth of experience in the care and support sector.

We’re asking our Care and Support customers to help us name the new group. Detail of the competition will be in the next edition of our Voicebox magazine.

We’ll share more about the work of the new group in the New Year.
