A new chapter for Nottingham’s history books
One of NCHA’s most significant developments was Trivett Square in Nottingham.
Developed with funding from English Partnerships, the properties were built for the private rent sector – a change of direction for NCHA.
The significance of building in such a historically important area wasn’t lost on Development Officer Richard Vickery.
Trivett Square was originally a lace factory built in the 1860s. Some of the flats still contain the original features from those days.
With 139 one and two bedroom apartments, it was the first project of its kind in the Lace Market. This then prompted a resurgence of development in this area.
