The following things are not covered by service charges when you have a shared ownership NCHA home:

Replacement keys and fobs

If you need a replacement key or key fob, please contact us to order one. There will be a charge for the replacement.

Gardening

If your home comes with its own garden, it’s your responsibility to maintain it. 

Replacement doors and windows

While communal doors and windows are replaced on a cyclical basis, you are responsible for your own property's doors and windows. 

Decorating

While we are responsible for external decoration and communal areas, decorating inside your home is your responsibility. Please check with us if you are considering making any home improvements – you may need written permission before work starts.

Garden fences

The documentation supplied when you bought your home will detail which boundaries are yours to manage.
