Pelham Homes privacy notice

Pelham Homes is a limited company, part of the NCHA group, whose work is undertaken by Nottingham Community Housing Association staff and contractors. NCHA will be the organisation which collects and stores your data. 

What information do we collect and why do we collect it?

We collect information when you make an enquiry and when you buy a property from us. The information includes your name, date of birth, National Insurance number, income and contact details. We need the information to process your sale and, if you are buying a leasehold property, for the management of your lease. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys or provide feedback.

How do we collect this information?

All information will be collected from you either personally or from information provided when you enter into an agreement with us. Data may be provided to us from third parties such as Rightmove or estate agents. This will be in the reservation forms or any other forms completed to enquire about or reserve a property.

How will we use it?

We use the information you provide us with to respond effectively to your enquiries and process your application and sale. We'll also use this information to manage your lease and/or service charge after you move in.

Who will we share it with?

We will share your data with the people or organisations who are dealing with your property purchase, for example solicitors and your mortgage broker.

Legally if it is deemed a legitimate business interest or vital it is possible some of your details could be shared with other organisations or statutory services, for example a local authority or energy provider. This would be in accordance with information sharing agreements regarding the confidentiality and security of all personal information.

Marketing

We may wish to send you information about products and services of ours and other companies in our group which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at any time by contacting us. 

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to view any information the organisation holds about you. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
