To access support from Dale Street, referrals should come through a social worker as any potential service users will need to have a care package in place.

How we can help

Dale Street provides long term accommodation with daily support, this can be in group sessions or one to one. We support with things such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, cleaning, socialising, attending appointments and sorting out any issues that arise.

We like our service users to tell us how the project should be run and encourage all to have their say in support sessions and in meetings. We'll respect your choices and privacy. Equality and diversity are important to us, and we work to make sure everyone feels included.

We'll help you to maintain your health and wellbeing, develop life skills, and get the most out of life.

Accommodation

Dale Street has 22 service users. There are 8 bedsits each with their own kitchenette and bathrooms and 14 self-contained one bedroomed flats for both men and women.

We have a private garden with a decking patio area for service users to use at the main building and we have social events such as games days and BBQs to help people who find it hard to socialise in the community.

Sneinton is a multi-cultural area of the city and has a good variety of shops and places of worship to meet most cultural needs. There is a regular bus service that runs from the city centre. We work closely with the local health centre to sort out any health concerns and they run a seamless service with the local pharmacy to ensure all medication is managed effectively.
