If you’re feeling the pressure of rising costs or finding it harder to make your money stretch, you’re not alone. That’s why we’re offering a free one-day financial capability course this summer to support NCHA customers with practical advice and tools.

What is Money Talks?

Money Talks is a friendly, informal training course designed to help you make the most of your money. It covers simple, practical steps to help you budget, manage bills and make your income go further.

Whether you’re worried about day-to-day spending or just want to feel more confident handling your finances, this course is here to help.

When and where

We’re running three one-day sessions across Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire:

  •  Wednesday 1 July – The John Storer House, Loughborough, LE11 3HA
  • Wednesday 8 July – Clifton Place, Clifton, Nottingham, NG11 8PY
  •  Wednesday 15 July - Beacon Hill Office Park, Cafferata Way, Newark, NG24 2TN

Each session will run from 10am to no later than 3pm (arrival from 9.30am).

What to expect

  • A small, supportive group – just 10 places per session
  • Practical tips to help you budget and manage your money
  • A relaxed and welcoming environment
  • Lunch and refreshments provided
  • We can also help with transport costs if getting there is a barrier.

Who can take part

The course is open to anyone living in an NCHA household.

Places are limited to just 10 people per session, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
