Bringing our repairs service in-house this April
From 8 April 2024 our own experienced teams will be carrying out our responsive repairs. These are the repairs that are needed to your home which we can’t anticipate or plan for.
Some temporary changes to our repairs service
- From 12 March, when you report your repair, providing it isn’t an emergency, we won’t be able to issue you with an appointment time straight away. One of the team will call you back within three working days to book a time and date that work for you.
- You’ll still be able to report your repair via MyNCHA, but you won’t be able to book an appointment time. We hope to have our online appointment booking system back in place by September 2024.
- We’ve introduced a new 60 day category for non-routine repairs. These are repairs that take longer, or may need more than one tradesperson to complete the work, and include things like fencing or large areas of plastering.
- If you call us with an emergency repair we’ll aim to attend to it within 24 hours of it being reported. This is a change from the previous timescale of four hours.
If you’re waiting for an outstanding repair to be completed, we’re really sorry about the wait. A member of the team will be providing you with a further update when we have one.
