IT issues: advice for NCHA staff
If you’re experiencing difficulties accessing NCHA’s computer systems, there are a few things you can try that may help.
If the problem is during office hours, contact the service desk
The Technology Services service desk is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm – please report your issue to them and they will pick it up as soon as they can. You can ring them on 0115 773 6800 – if you’re calling out of hours, you can leave a voicemail and they will pick it up first thing in the morning. If you’re able to, you can also email firstname.lastname@example.org at any time and a ticket will be logged.
If it’s outside of office hours…
- Switch it off and on again – it’s surprising how often this fixes an IT problem.
- Check your internet access – is it working as normal? Are other devices able to connect and get online?
