How we can help

At Derbyshire Homelessness service we provide temporary accommodation, as well as supporting residents in maintaining their tenancy with us and giving them the skills to take forward when moving into their own accommodation (such as handling utility bills).

All residents have a named keyworker who will develop support plans with them. Staff can also help people access support services from other agencies.

Accommodation

We have 12, two or three bedroom individual houses based in the community within the Derbyshire Dales area.

Three of these are in Ashbourne, two in Bakewell and there are seven within Matlock.

The houses are part furnished, the kitchens have white goods installed and flooring is provided in the property.

Each house has a lounge, two or three bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. Our location gives us easy access to local amenities.

We're close to useful shops, as well as cafes and restaurants, and we're on a major bus route that will take you into the local areas.

Derbyshire Homelessness service offers a warm, friendly and welcoming space.

Families will be supported by a team helping them to regain confidence and move on to find a new home.
