Need help?
If you’re affected by domestic abuse, you can now find confidential support at NCHA’s Clifton office - an officially recognised J9 safe space.
What does this mean?
If you need advice, visit our main reception and ask for support. A trained colleague will offer a private room where you can talk safely and get guidance or signposting to specialist services. Look for the J9 logo in the window - it shows this is a safe place to start a conversation.
Where and when?
Clifton Place, 9 Fairham Brook Drive, NG11 8PY
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (excluding bank holidays)
About J9
The J9 initiative helps people find safe, discreet locations where they can ask for help. Named in memory of Janine Munby, J9 safe spaces are designed to be welcoming, with trained staff ready to listen.
At NCHA we offer a wide range of domestic abuse support and advice, as well as specialist support for customers living in our homes.
Concerned about someone? If you think someone is in immediate danger from domestic abuse, dial 999 and tell the police. Contact your local neighbourhood policing team if it’s not an emergency. You can also contact the National Domestic Abuse Helpline for advice and support: ring them on 0808 2000 247 at any time. A charity called Respect runs an advice line for men, which is on 0808 801 0327.
