New affordable homes for Stapleford

Cementing our partnership with Tuntum Housing Association

We’re delighted to confirm that our development partnership with Tuntum Housing Association, through Blueskies Consortium has led to the successful completion of a new affordable housing scheme in Stapleford, Broxtowe.

Officially opened in November 2025, the development brings 24 high-quality homes for affordable rent to the area, supporting local families and individuals. Delivered in collaboration with Tuntum, MyPad, Pelham, and NCHA, the project reflects a shared commitment to sustainable, community-focused regeneration.

Built on a former brownfield site previously owned by Ford, the scheme includes:

15 two-bedroom flats at Tarporley Court
6 three-bedroom houses and 3 four-bedroom houses at Outcrop Road

Notably, the 9 houses have achieved an EPC Band A rating, thanks to the integration of solar PV panels and high-efficiency gas boilers, setting a new benchmark for energy-efficient homes in Tuntum’s portfolio.

This is Tuntum’s first development in the Borough of Broxtowe, marking a significant milestone in their growth and impact across Nottinghamshire.

The £5.26 million scheme was funded through a combination of Homes England grant, Tuntum’s own investment, and private finance, reinforcing the strategic partnership between NCHA, Tuntum, and Homes England to deliver high-quality, affordable housing across the region.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor Robert Bullock, who praised the development’s contribution to local housing needs and its sustainability credentials. Residents, partners, and community leaders joined the celebration, including Progress Zimba, the first resident to move in, who was presented with a ceremonial key.

This development is a clear example of how our strategic partnerships are helping to unlock new opportunities for affordable housing across the East Midlands.
