Delivering on our promise to tackle the housing crisis

We’ve reached a significant development milestone as we announce the completion of our SP 1 development programme, delivering 676 high-quality, energy-efficient homes across 13 local authority areas.

This represents a sizable contribution to the 1,407 new, affordable homes we completed in total over that same time period.

Working to alleviate the housing crisis

These homes - available for affordable rent and shared ownership - are part of a wider effort to address the housing crisis and provide secure, sustainable living for those who need it most.

Joanne Hill, Assistant Director of Development and Sales, said:

“This is a real achievement, and I want to thank all our colleagues and partners for their dedication and hard work in bringing this programme to completion.

“But the work doesn’t stop there, our focus now is on delivering 1,590 new homes through SP 2 and looking further ahead at future funding opportunities.”

This development programme was made possible through strategic partnership funding from Homes England, part of a £5.2 billion national programme aiming to deliver 90,000 affordable homes over seven years.
