We’re 100% gas safety compliant – Thanks to you!
We’re really pleased to share some great news: as of 22 January, every single one of our homes with a gas supply – all 7,930 of them – now has a current gas safety certificate.
That means we’ve reached 100% gas safety compliance, and that helps keep our customers safe in their homes.
This is a fantastic achievement for our gas team, but it’s also required close working with our Homes and Wellbeing teams. By working together and sharing information early, we’ve been able to improve our service – and most importantly, keep you safe.
Why it’s important for us to carry out your annual gas service
Your annual gas service isn’t just a routine check – it’s a legal requirement and an essential part of keeping you and your home safe. Here’s why letting us into your home matters:

Gas appliances can become dangerous if they aren’t checked regularly. A service helps prevent risks such as gas leaks or carbon monoxide poisoning.

3. It’s a legal requirement
As your landlord, we must carry out a gas safety check every 12 months. Allowing access means we can meet our legal duty and provide you with the documentation you need.

The check is quick, and our engineers will always work around you as much as possible.
