Triple apprenticeship triumph
We’ve received triple recognition for the outstanding work of our apprenticeship offer, with three deserving colleagues shortlisted in the 2025 Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Apprenticeship Awards!
It’s a proud moment for NCHA, celebrating our fantastic colleague’s individual excellence, as well as our wider learning culture.
Meet our finalists
- Higher Apprentice of the Year: Suzanna Locke
- Construction Apprentice of the Year: Rosie Deegan
- Mentor of the Year: Angela Chamberlain
These shortlistings are a testament to our three finalists’ hard work, dedication, and the high regard in which they’re held by their colleagues. It’s a celebration of their individual journeys and the difference they continue to make for NCHA and in the communities we work.
We’re also proud to work in partnership with Access Training, the company we co-own with Futures Housing Group, who support us in delivering high-quality apprenticeships across the organisation.
More than just awards
While this moment rightly celebrates Suzanna, Rosie, and Angela, it also shines a light on the culture of growth and opportunity at NCHA. It reflects:
- The mentorship and encouragement that fuels every apprentice’s journey.
- The learning and development teams who design and deliver impactful training.
- The apprenticeship pathways that open doors to new careers and personal transformation.
What’s next?
The winners will be announced at a celebratory dinner on Thursday 2 October at the Village Hotel in Nottingham. You can view the full list of finalists here.
Until then, huge congratulation to Suzanna, Rosie, and Angela – we’re so proud to have you recognised in this way.
