Training for our Diverse Heritage colleagues

This autumn marked the start of our very first Diverse Heritage Development Programme, an exciting new initiative designed to empower colleagues from ethnically diverse backgrounds to thrive, lead, and shape the future of our organisation.

Strength in diversity

We believe that diversity is a strength - and when we invest in the growth of all our people, we build a more vibrant, innovative, and equitable workplace for everyone.

At NCHA we’re committed to recruiting, developing and retaining a diverse workforce, specifically in people manager roles and at senior levels.

Our ED&I Strategy details our aims and ambitions for a diverse and inclusive workforce, including a clear target for 14% of our managers to be from a diverse heritage background by 2029.

Looking forward to the future

Ella Scutts, NCHA’s Leadership Development Manager, has led on the creation of the programme and said:

“Launching this programme demonstrates the commitment NCHA has to developing our diverse heritage colleagues. It’s a really exciting programme and I’m looking forward to seeing how colleagues develop and grow.”

We look forward to seeing the positive impact this initiative will have on our people and our culture.
