New Care and Support Family Charter

Building strong relationships with families

We recognise the importance of family relationships and involvement in our Care and Support customers’ lives, and we want to ensure that we work together to provide the best service we can. That’s why we’ve created a Family Charter to describe our collaborative approach.

Our new Family Charter is now available on our website, and it covers:

  • A brief introduction to NCHA
  • A summary of the Mental Capacity Act
  • Our approach to working with family members.

It incorporates our CLEAR values that underpin everything that we do: Caring, learning, enthusiastic, accountable and resilient.

Find out more about our plans for the future in our Care and Support Strategy summary.

If your loved one lives with us, think of this Family Charter as our pledge to listen to you, learn from you and do our absolute best for every person that we support.

If you have any questions, please speak to your support worker, project manager or call us on 0800 013 8555 and your query can be directed to the right person.
