Apartments for older people at Clifton

Within our grand plans at Clifton we are building 50 one and two-bed apartments for people aged 55 and over. These will include onsite support and communal facilities.

We currently have 13 Independent Living for Older People schemes located across the East Midlands, and each one has its own unique sense of community and style. Our scheme managers provide support to residents when they need it, but they’ll live a completely independent life when they don’t.

The new development at Clifton will be a three-storey building with 12 two bed apartments and 38 one bed apartments, each fitted with a wet room. The communal facilities will include a garden, lounges, kitchen and a snug. We’ll also be incorporating plenty of storage facilities for mobility scooters, and the building will be fully accessible.

These new apartments have been designed to enable our residents to live independently for longer. They will be energy efficient to ensure low running costs, and fitted with support aids from Invisible Creations to support health and wellbeing.

We’ll be located just a short walk from Clifton’s main shopping centre, which has a range of shops and cafes. Bus and tram stops are located a short walk away.

Based on the current plans these new homes are due to be completed by the end of 2024. If you’re interested in renting one of these apartments please let us know by completing our online enquiry form. We’ll be in touch when we have further information to share.
