Coronavirus: changes to care and support services

We are closely following the government’s guidance to help reduce the spread of coronavirus. We have had to make some changes to the way we deliver our services and the support we offer.

There may be some periods where we are not able to follow your usual support plan and may not be able to offer you the same level of service described in Your Guide.

In community-based services we may support you by phone occasionally. If you usually receive care from us, we may need to concentrate on essential support, such as personal care, medication and meals.

In supported housing, supported living and care homes we may need to concentrate on providing essential support only. If you have symptoms of coronavirus we will ask you to self-isolate in your accommodation. We will support you to do that and continue to offer essential support.

We'll continue to take a risk-based approach to the services we provide and follow government guidance to minimise harm and maximise support.
