Walk a mile in their shoes
Time to dust off your walking boots. Join East Lindsey Domestic Abuse Service this International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March 2020 and lend your support to this year’s campaign, ‘Each for Equal’, a call to advance gender equality.
In solidarity with the international campaign, we’ll be hosting a sponsored walk from Hubbards Hill to Bar Castillejar, New Street in Louth to raise awareness of domestic abuse and the support services available in the local area.
Want to get involved?
Register your interest by calling 01507 609 830 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for details on how to join us on the day and we’ll send the event information with times and addresses directly to your door!
The event costs £5 to register, with all proceeds going to our East Lindsey Domestic Abuse Service, helping us to provide support to people who have or are experiencing domestic abuse.
If you’re planning to join us, share your photos of the day on social media using the #IWD2020 and #EachforEqual hashtags, but don’t forget to tag in @nottscommha and @eastlindsey_das on Twitter!
Can’t join us on the day?
You can still support us via the East Lindsey Domestic Abuse Service Go Fund Me page and donate as much as you can to help us to reach more people in our community.
