Installing carbon monoxide detectors
On 1 October 2022 regulations around smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors are changing to keep customers safe.
As your landlord, we need to ensure that a CO detector is fitted in any room containing a gas boiler or gas fire. This new guidance does not apply to gas cookers.
We’ve partnered with Professional Heating Solutions to complete this work. They’ll contact you directly to book in a suitable appointment and carry ID with them when they visit you.
The work will take around 30 minutes to complete. The detector is self-contained so it won’t be connected to your electric supply.
