Proposed consolidation NCHA and NC(2)HA
We are notifying NCHA customers of the proposed group consolidation of Nottingham Community Housing Association Limited (NCHA) and Nottingham Community (Second) Housing Association Limited (NC(2)HA).
NC(2)HA sits as a subsidiary within the NCHA Group, with a small number of tenants and shared ownership customers. It is proposed that NCHA and NC(2)HA merge in what is called a Transfer of Engagements. Following this transfer all NC(2)HA residents will have NCHA as their landlord.
Consolidating NC(2)HA and NCHA is expected to save money that will be invested back into new housing and existing services. As the demand for affordable housing continues to rise making savings and efficiencies is more important than ever.
All NC(2)HA residents have been written to, explaining the proposal and formally opening a six week period of consultation.
All comments and queries from NCHA customers should be sent to Sylvia Gough, Governance Manager by 31 December 2020.
The NC(2)HA Board will consider all feedback received. If the transfer of engagement is agreed, it is expected to be complete by 31 March 2021.
