NCHA achieves CORGI accreditation

It’s a tough standard to reach, but our Heating team have met the standard. They are now fully CORGI accredited.

The CORGI Quality Accreditation Scheme is available to all social housing providers, private landlords and the contractors who work with them. It looks at the quality of management and processes for gas safety work.

High standards must be met to gain accreditation in:

  • Company ethos and policies
  • Work scope
  • Training and qualifications
  • Work allocation
  • Supervision and quality control
  • Procedures
  • Work documentation
  • Technical support
  • Gas compliance procedures
  • Specific focus on contractors.

It’s a vigorous standard to reach and is testament to the team’s hard work to achieve their goal.

Julian Montgomery, Head of Maintenance Services, said: “Achieving CORGI Quality Accreditation has been a huge exercise, but now stands NCHA in good stead with regards to gas safety across the organisation. Well done and thank you to all involved in this achievement.”

The accreditation is valid for the next three years and they’ll be annual surveillance visits along the way.
