Celebrating HDN accreditation
We’re really proud to have our work on equality, diversity and inclusion recognised by The Housing Diversity Network (HDN).
This independent body support organisations to address inequality and promote equality, diversity and opportunity for all.
Their Diversity Network Accreditation is the industry standard for equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) for social housing. Our success demonstrates that we have effective leadership and processes in place, and that we’re achieving positive outcomes for our colleagues and customers.
Holly Dagnall, Director of Homes and Wellbeing: “I’m so proud that together we have achieved recognition for all our ED&I work to date. Thanks to the colleagues, customers and board members who gathered information, took part in interviews and supported the accreditation process.”
Our accreditation plaque was presented by HDN Board Member Pritti Allen: “Congratulations to everyone at NCHA. It’s great recognition of what you’ve achieved so far and represents a significant milestone in your journey. We gave NCHA five ‘distinctions’ for areas of good practice and a number of recommendations for improvements. We look forward to seeing the progress you make towards your ED&I goals and aspirations.”
The HDN report’s recommendations have been incorporated into our plans for the next five years. Find out more in our new ED&I Strategy 2022-27 (PDF).
