New service launches on World Mental Health Day
Supporting people in Charnwood and Melton
We’ve joined forces with NHS Leicestershire to launch the newly recommissioned Charnwood and Melton Mental Health Wellbeing Service.
The service will provide advice, guidance and support for people experiencing difficulty with their emotional and mental health.
It’s an open access service, meaning that there is no need for an appointment and anyone living in the Charnwood and Melton areas can refer themselves. To make a referral you will need to download a referral form and return it completed to us by post or email.
Tracey Ward, Head of Care & Support comments: “With over 30 years’ experience in care and support we have a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer the people of Charnwood and Melton. We will provide an individually tailored service, offering advice and guidance on mental health and wellbeing. Our recovery focused one-to-one support and group sessions will encourage people to improve their mental health and achieve their personal goals.”
On Monday 10 October, World Mental Health Day we will be attending Mental Health Mile at Loughborough Wellbeing Centre. Pop along to meet the team and explore the options available for advice and support.
Venue: Loughborough Wellbeing Centre, Asha House, 63 Woodgate, Loughborough LE11 2TZ
Time: 10 – 2pm
The service is open to anyone living in the Charnwood and Melton area aged 18 and over.
