We’re Helplines Standard accredited

The Helplines Standard accreditation is a nationally recognised quality standard that defines and accredits consistent, best practice in helpline work.

This is fantastic news for our SMaRT team who offer mental health support over the phone 24 hours a day, every day of the week to people needing support or at a point of crisis.

They often have to deal with some very challenging situations, but do so with the professionalism and urgency required in each case. They support the offer really is a lifeline to many. 

To secure the standard the team took part in an in-depth assessment process. They provided an evidence portfolio of the support on offer, as well as taking part in interviews and a remote assessment.

The accreditation evidences the quality of service offered by the team and will stand for the next three years.
