Everything’s ‘Good’ at Ashland Road West
We’re celebrating their recent ‘Good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission.
Even in difficult times it’s still important for us to deliver the best service possible to our customers, and that’s why we’re saying a big congratulations to Ashland Road West.
As a care home that supports people with learning disabilities, they’ve worked hard to ensure that the pressures placed on them by coronavirus has minimal impact on the care they provide.
Their new inspection report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) said that 'the service was very homely, and people looked very comfortable within their surroundings', adding that 'staff went above and beyond'.
We provide ourselves on being an organisation that helps people to live better lives, so it’s great that the CQC recognised that Ashland Road West 'supported people to learn new skills' and that 'staff had time to spend with people and made sure they focused on their individual needs'.
Lesley Rawlinson, Ashland Road West’s Project Manager, comments: "Ashland Road is home from home to some wonderful people and it is a privilege to be part of their lives and share the happy times, but also be there for everyone at times when they are unwell or having difficulties."
Well done to all our colleagues at Ashland Road West.
