You Made It Happen

We’re joining in with the National Council for Voluntary Organisations’ You Made It Happen campaign celebrating our supporters and volunteers, highlighting the difference they make to their local community.

As part of our commitment to promoting better lives, we regularly encourage local people to support us in providing more social activities for our customers.

Therefore, we wanted to say a big thank you to Nottingham software specialist Solutions for Retail Brands (S4RB), who volunteered an amazing 150 hours, transforming an overgrown area of land into a great outdoor social space for the customers at our All Saints project, which provides short term accommodation and support to assist people with mental health difficulties to develop strategies to cope and ultimately move on to their own independent tenancy.

Additionally, we’d like to say a special thank you to All Saints’ regular volunteer, Michael Bellamy, who has big plans for the area moving forward.

Michael said: ‘I am really looking forward to continuing to work with All Saints residents and ensuring that this becomes a great space for everyone to enjoy.’

Dave Pearce, All Saints Project Manager, comments further: “We pride ourselves on providing quality care and support and this new space will allow our residents to learn new skills, get outdoors and enjoy the fulfilment of gardening and growing their own produce”.
