Walk a Mile in Their Shoes

East Lindsey Domestic Abuse Service and Nottingham Community Housing Association need you on Friday 8 March 2019 to help us support International Women’s Day, with this year’s theme being ‘Balance for Better’ highlighting the importance of creating a more gender balanced world.
In support of the campaign, we’ll be holding a sponsored walk from Hubbards Hill to Spout Yard in Louth to raise awareness of domestic abuse and support services available in the local area.

Want to get involved?

Register your interest by calling 01507 609 830 or emailing for details on how to join us on the day and we’ll send the event information with times and addresses directly to your door!

The event costs £5 to enter, which will include a ‘Walk a Mile in Their Shoes’ sash, with all proceeds going to the East Lindsey Domestic Abuse Service, helping us to provide a more comprehensive service for our residents and open access courses in our local community for those living with domestic abuse.
The sponsored walk will be a small event with the capacity to have a big impact, so register your interest, receive the information and join us in highlighting the impact of domestic abuse in Lincolnshire.
This is an opportunity to stand united against the murders of two women a week by partners or former partners, who may be gone but never be forgotten. Help them to have their voices heard.

For more information on the event, contact the East Lindsey Domestic Abuse Service via email on for further details.

If you’re already planning to join us, get involved on social media using the #loveshouldnthurt and #balanceforbetter hashtags and tag in @nottscommha on Twitter.

Additionally, if you're unable to join us, but would still like to support us, you can make a donation on the East Lindsey Domestic Abuse Go Fund Me page.
