Taking a closer look at social value

Social value is the term used to describe the wider non-financial impacts of programmes, organisations and projects, especially on the wellbeing of individuals and communities and on the environment.*

In regards to the work we do at Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) this relates to us taking a detailed look at the impact we have in the local communities where we operate.

Generally, this can include anything from reducing pressures on community and NHS services or at a more individual level this could mean improving the wellbeing of one of our service users.

Therefore, we conducted a social value assessment at Martinmass Close, an NCHA supported living scheme in Lenton for young people with complex needs, to measure the impact we’re having in the local area.
Download our Social Value Report for a more in-depth look at our findings, highlighting the positive impact our Martinmass Close scheme has on its local community.

Additionally, feel free to contact our Care and Support team on 0345 650 1202 for more information.
