Midlands United is a campaign driven by the National Housing Federation and the Chartered Institute of Housing, which represents both the East and West Midlands. Their aim is to raise awareness of the appetite and ability of the Midlands housing sector to contribute to the economic development and growth of the region.

NCHA Chief Executive Mike Andrews said “TheMidlands, and NCHA in particular, has the track record for building affordable housing but we don’t have the profile. Midlands United aims to make ministers aware that some of the £1billion which will be available for continued funding of the Housing Market Renewal programme needs to be directed towards our region.”
