NCHA tenants go live on the web
The Tenants and Residents Consortium (TRC) of Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) will be launching their first venture into cyberspace on Thursday 4th October 2007.
The new TRC website has been established by tenants and will be run by tenants, with a clear focus on becoming a portal for useful information, news and events, plus a discussion point for tenants to share their views on important issues.
The TRC are a group of NCHA tenants who are funded annually by NCHA, but act as an independent body, representing tenants needs and rights across NCHA’s areas of operation in the East Midlands.
Acting Chairwoman of the TRC, Joanna Mepham commented,
We understand what it’s like to be an NCHA tenant. We have done a vast amount of research before setting up the website and we hope that we can reach all tenants across the board and provide a useful way for them to stay up to date with important issues. We hope to develop the website over the years and incorporate plenty of features for children, as they will be the future tenants of NCHA.
The website will be officially launched by NCHA Chief Executive, Mike Andrews, accompanied by members of staff, the TRC and NCHA tenants at 1pm on Thursday 4th October at NCHA Camberley Court offices, Nottingham.
