Creative therapy in Sneinton

Following a successful exhibition last year, Nottingham Community Housing Association’s (NCHA)
Dale Street project in Sneinton will be exhibiting service user’s creative talents at Nottingham Central Library later this month.

The exhibition will provide an opportunity for service users to show off their artistic flair, with a range of paintings, poetry and crafts on display.

Service user Paul Boast from the Dale Street project described his inspiration,
“The main reason for me taking my photographs was the autumn colours and the various different light effects. It is something that I very much enjoy doing, it gives me the opportunity to look at things in a different way, for colour, shapes, size and much more”.

Dale Street project is one of several NCHA supported housing schemes for adults with enduring mental health needs.

The exhibition will be held at Nottingham Central Library from Monday 18th June 2007 for two weeks.
