Do you have spare PPE? If so, let us know!

Due to a national shortage of personal protective equipment - PPE - NCHA are appealing to local businesses to help us maintain our stocks, so we can continue to deliver essential care and support services across the region.

We’re especially keen to make sure we’re fully stocked in moisture resistant surgical masks (or similar), disposable gloves and disposable aprons, to protect our customers and employees. We're also looking for businesses who can supply us with clear face masks to help us support customers with hearing difficulties who rely on lip reading.

Pippa Foster, NCHA’s Head of Care and Support said: “With many businesses across different sectors currently closed, or operating reduced services, there’s likely to be PPE sitting unused in store cupboards.

“We’re interested to hear from anyone who can help us continue our vital work in care homes, supported living schemes and in the community, by offering PPE that they can’t currently use.

“From nail bars to construction firms, we’re happy to collect the equipment, and to reimburse businesses that can help.”

Staff from NCHA’s Property Services team have been drafted in to collect and deliver the PPE to our front-line services across the East Midlands, while colleagues from across the organisation - including Director of Homes and Wellbeing Holly Dagnall - have been pitching in to lend a hand.
