Mental Health Awareness Week 2019

We’re supporting this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place from 13 - 19 May 2019.

This year’s theme is focusing on body image issues, which can affect us at any age. During the week, the Mental Health Foundation will be publishing new research, looking at some of the reasons why our body image can impact our mental health.

We’ll be supporting the campaign with a range of activities across our mental health services, including:

  • Curry and chat events
  • A confidence-building photography session with our customers, sharing their experiences of mental health
  • Coffee mornings
  • Creative activities to help our customers to explore their feelings on mental health
  • Talks from external agencies on the positive impact of health eating and exercise on mental health and body image
  • Walks and meditation sessions

We’ll be sharing the highlights from our events on our social media channels, so keep a lookout!
