Duplicated direct debits

UPDATE

Allpay, who deal with NCHA’s direct debit mandates, experienced some technical issues on 8/9/2017. Direct debits that have been applied for on this date have been taken twice. NCHA has only received one payment. Allpay are aware of the issue and have assured NCHA that all 2nd payments which were removed will be returned to our tenants’ bank accounts by 12/9/2017. They have also advised that if anyone receives bank charges or other charges because of this issue they will have the costs reimbursed.

If you pay your rent through Allpay direct debits, may have noticed that an extra payment has been taken from your account today (Friday 8th November 2017).

Allpay state that, unfortunately in some cases payments have been duplicated. They are working hard to resolve this issue and will credit all affected customers. No one should be left out of pocket.
