Applying for a Job
Please read the supporting guidance notes before completing your application.
There are various ways in which you can apply for one of the vacancies on our Current Vacancies page:
- Download and print a PDF version of our application form. This can be completed by hand and returned to our HR recruitment team by post or by hand.
- Download a Word version of our application form. This can be completed electronically and you can either then print it and return it to us by post or by hand, or you can email it direct to our HR recruitment team.
- Request an Application Pack via our 24 hour recruitment hotline on 0845 650 1205, option 1, and this will be sent direct to your home address.
- Click here to request an application pack. When requesting an application pack, be sure to include your full name, postal address and/or email address, and state the job title and/or vacancy reference of the job you wish to apply for.
In order to complete your application form successfully, you will need to refer to the Person Specification section of the Job Specification when completing the Skills / Knowledge / Abilities part of the form. The job specification for each job can be downloaded from the relevant ’More info...’ section on the Current Vacancies page.
Regardless of which way you obtain your application form, you need to ensure that you have read our accompanying Guidance Notes to ensure you complete your application form correctly. Application forms that do not meet the criteria outlined in the Guidance Notes will NOT be shortlisted.
After the closing date for a vacancy, the Recruitment Panel will meet to shortlist all received applications. Those who are successful will be contacted to invite them to an assessment and/or interview. We will also write to unsuccessful candidates within two weeks of the closing date to notify them of the outcome.
