Top 50 developers: Building new homes to create better lives

Figures released recently by the housing press have shown that housing associations are still managing to build much needed new homes across England, despite unsettled political and economic times. These new homes will help to address the much publicised housing crisis currently affecting thousands of people across the country.

Research published by Inside Housing magazine shows that based on the statistics in their recent house building survey, Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA)  is now ranked at the number 50 spot.

Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is one of the largest housing associations in the East Midlands, with an active build development programme across the region. NCHA is working towards completing over 300 new homes in 2017/18 and a further 600 in 2018-20.

One of our big ambitions over the next five years is to build a new home every day. That will equate to over 1,500 new homes across the East Midlands in the next five years. Contributing to stopping the housing crisis that is affecting people across the East Midlands.

NCHA’s corporate plan is published every year and highlights an ongoing commitment to helping those in need, staying financially viable and efficient, growing the business and delivering good services for all NCHA’s customers.
