Become a Tenant Inspector

Can you be critical and constructive?

We want to recruit a team of Tenant Inspectors who look at specific services in more detail than our usual involvement methods.

This will involve ’reality checking’ how a service works in practice for those who actually receive it and identifying improvements to our policy and procedures.

You can expect us to:
1. Provide a structured approach.
2. Provide you with quality information, training and support.
3. Ensure our staff are well informed about your role.
4. Take all recommendations seriously and provide feedback.

 Your role will include:
1. Choosing which subject areas you concentrate on.
2. Using lots of different methods, e.g. mystery shopping, estate inspections, surveys etc.
3. You committing to spending time on the project, some of which will be at your home.

We will:
1.  Pay all travel and other relevant expenses.
2. Reward you with shopping/decorating vouchers.

You will be helping to bring about changes and improvements that will benefit many of
our tenants and you will develop skills which will help you with tenant involvement.

Interested?
Please contact Dean Morris and Tracey Adams (NCHA’s Service Improvement Team) at the
Nottingham Office on 0115 844 3095 or email

We are keen to encourage a wide range of people to become Tenant Inspectors and so
would welcome interest from tenants who are not already actively involved.

We need to ensure that our Tenant Inspectors represent our diverse community of tenants and are particularly keen to attract interest from black and ethnic tenants.
