Tenant Involvement - Getting Involved
We have developed a range of different ways for residents to get involved with NCHA and help to improve the services we provide. These include:
- Holding a Customer Panel database of residents who want to be consulted on our service delivery and changes of policy.
- Supporting the tenant led Tenants and Residents Consortium (TRC) - for more info click here.
- Setting up Customer Advisory Panels with groups of interested residents to look at specific areas of operation.
- Assisting residents in the production of ‘LINK’, the residents’ newsletter.
- Supporting Tenants & Residents associations, groups and the Residents Inspection Team.
- Holding meetings and surgeries to address local issues.
- Consulting residents on proposals and changes which affect them.
- Undertaking regular surveys and welcoming feedback, so we can find out what residents think about the services we offer.
- Appointing tenant representatives on estates to keep an eye on local services e.g. gardening and communal cleaning.
- Developing our website to make it more interactive for residents.
- Providing annual information about how well we perform.
- Encouraging residents to join our Board.
