Tenants and Residents Consortium (TRC)
Would you like to get involved with NCHA?
Help other tenants, shape policies, improve services and support tenant initiatives?
...Join the TRC!
We’re an established group of tenants that meet once a month to address issues that matter to us all as tenants of NCHA.
We are an independent group and we work in partnership with NCHA to improve their services to tenants, and to help support tenant projects.

Who are the members of the TRC?
The TRC is made up entirely of NCHA tenants. Many are heavily involved in all aspects of the resident involvement work that the Association does, and actively represent our tenants.
TRC Chairman - Graham Carvell
Graham is a Board Member and tenant of the Association living in Leicester. He is employed in the Adults and Housing Department of Leicester City Council and is Chairman of NCHA’s Tenants and Residents Consortium. Graham joined the Board in July 2007.
TRC Secretary - Colin Stratton-Baldwin
Colin is a tenant living in Collingham near Newark. He is an active member of both the Technical Services Customer Advisory Panel and the Lettings and Estate Advisory Panel. He joined NCHA’s Board in 2009.
TRC Vice-Chair - Adam Khonat
Adam and his wife Noorjahan have been members of the TRC for two years. They have been NCHA tenants for seven years and live in Highfields, Leicester with their nine children.
Adam is the TRC’s Vice-Chair and Assistant Treasurer, and he enjoys his work with the TRC as it has improved the way the Association listens to its tenants. His work with the TRC has enabled him to help tenants in his area, as well as through his work for the Leicester CAP, Technical Services CAP and Communications CAP groups.
Adam is always interested in meeting new people, visiting new places and sight seeing as well as indulging in his interest in cooking.
TRC Treasurer - Jenny Wilson
Dave Dawkins
Dave has lived with his wife Margaret and son Calum in their NCHA property in Deeping St James, Lincolnshire for three years.
Dave joined the TRC two years ago and is also a member of the Anti-social behaviour CAP and the Disability CAP groups. Dave originally joined the TRC to learn more about how he could build a better tenant community on the Deepings development. Now he enjoys being involved in helping tenants across NCHA through his work with the TRC developing policies and procedures to benefit all tenants.
In his spare time, Dave enjoys walking in the nearby Fens, tending his allotment and cooking.
