Tenants and Residents Consortium (TRC)

Would you like to get involved with NCHA?

Help other tenants, shape policies, improve services and support tenant initiatives?

...Join the TRC!

We’re an established group of tenants that meet once a month to address issues that matter to us all as tenants of NCHA.

We are an independent group and we work in partnership with NCHA to improve their services to tenants, and to help support tenant projects.

Who are the members of the TRC?

The TRC is made up entirely of NCHA tenants. Many are heavily involved in all aspects of the resident involvement work that the Association does, and actively represent our tenants.

TRC Chairman - Graham Carvell

Graham is a Board Member and tenant of the Association living in Leicester. He is employed in the Adults and Housing Department of Leicester City Council and is Chairman of NCHA’s Tenants and Residents Consortium. Graham joined the Board in July 2007.

TRC Secretary - Colin Stratton-Baldwin

Colin is a tenant living in Collingham near Newark. He is an active member of both the Technical Services Customer Advisory Panel and the Lettings and Estate Advisory Panel. He joined NCHA’s Board in 2009.

TRC Vice-Chair - Adam Khonat

TRC Treasurer - Jenny Wilson

Bernard Wilkinson

Bernard and his wife Margaret have lived in Ratcliffe-on-Soar, Nottinghamshire since January 2009, having previously lived at NCHA’s Lilac Court sheltered housing scheme in Clifton, Nottingham.

Bernard joined the TRC at the beginning of 2009, after wanting to become more involved in the work that tenants do with NCHA. He is also a member of NCHA’s Nottingham Customer Advisory Panel (CAP), Technical Services CAP and the Services Inspection team.

Before he retired, Bernard worked for the Ministry of Defence, teaching in Berlin and Bahamas. He now enjoys train-spotting, plane-spotting, building model trains, reading sci-fi and crime mystery novels, as well as occasional visits to his family in Australia.
