My electrics aren’t working.
Check that the trip switches are all in the ON position. Check with your neighbours to see if there has been a power cut.
Where are the trip switches?
They are in the consumer unit which is usually next to the meter in the hall cupboard.
I have a water leak in my bathroom/under my sink.
Switch the water off at the stop-tap.
Where can I find the stop-tap?
It will normally be under the kitchen sink or in the bathroom - near the WC or in the airing cupboard.
My radiators aren’t getting hot.
Have you got a room thermostat? Is it turned up high enough to boost the radiators into the heat position?
