Article Title:	SERVICE INSPECTION TEAM SHORTLISTED FOR TPAS AWARD
NCHA's Services Inspection Team was jumping for joy after being nominated for a TPAS Award in the Best Practice in the Community category for the Midlands region. The Services Inspection Team, which is a joint venture with Newark & Sherwood Homes, was set up in July 2008. Comprising tenants from both organisations, the main objective is to achieve long term improvements to services for tenants and to be available to inspect other service areas when required. Over the past two years the TPAS Connecting People Awards have been recognising and rewarding tenants and people that work with tenants for the excellent work they have been doing in communities across England. Each award will be contested in three regions- the North, Midlands and South. After this the regional winners will then go forward to the final in August when the overall winner of each category will be announced. 1.*TPAS = Tenant Participation Advisory Service.
