Housing with Care and Support

Supported Housing  and Registered Services

 

These Directly Managed Services are mainly property related schemes including registered care homes and supported housing. They provide services to a wide range of service users and are commissioned by Social Services Departments, Supporting People Teams, Primary Care Trusts or by a combination of joint commissioning arrangements.

 

Each property or group of properties has a local manager, known as a Project Manager and the larger schemes also have an Assistant Manager. Projects are grouped into service areas (i.e. Mental Health, Young Person’s etc.) each of which is managed by a Contracts Manager.

 

 

Floating Support and Home Care  

 

Housing with Care and Support provide a range of support and care services to people in their own homes. The property could be provided by a landlord or owned.
 
These services are provided under contract to either Social Services Departments or Supporting People Teams which specify the type and quantity of support that we will provide.

 

  

SMaRT

 

This service, established in 2003, provides 24 hour support, 365 days a year to service users who do not have staff on site 24 hours a day.

 

The service has mobile staff who can go out in response to calls. The team monitor CCTV systems and an online call system, offering assistive technology to support people in their homes and works in close association with emergency services and Health and Care agencies.

 

 

Housing and Property Management (H&PM)  

 

A dedicated and professional Housing Management Team provides a specialist housing management service. This service is not only about the traditional landlord duties of setting rents and eligible service charges and ensuring those are collected; it is also about tailoring that service to meet the specific needs of our service users.

 

In some circumstances we appoint Agents to act on behalf of the Association through a contracted out Service Agreement.

 

H&PM also manage all contracts for the provision of maintenance, servicing and environmental services.
