As a market leader in providing care and support in the mental health sector, Housing with Care and Support recognises the importance of working with partners to meet the needs of clients with mental health difficulties. We work closely with Health and Social Services professionals and other agencies, to ensure the best level of care and support is offered to clients with a wide range of needs.
We provide a range of services for people with mental ill health depending upon their level of need. Care can be provided in a Registered Care setting for those needing support 24 hours a day, Supported Housing for those with accommodation requirements or Floating Support within people’s own homes.
Registered Services
Residential care is provided in purpose built or adapted care homes where clients live in comfortable, well furnished properties. Staff assistance is available 24 hours a day and all homes continue to meet the exacting standard set by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
Projects cater for individuals that require a range of support packages. Support is provided through a person centered approach and support plans are developed with service users at the centre of the process. Each project has a Project Manager who is supported by a team of trained support workers. Outside of usual staffing hours, service users have direct access to the SMaRT service to ensure that their support needs can be met at all times.
Support is provided to individuals in their own homes, whether rented or owned. The support provided is normally short term (up to two years). Support workers agree a regular day and time to visit, usually at the service user’s home. They work with them to identify what support is needed and write and continually update support plans with the service user’s involvement and agreement.
